Surely Pound a Week rise is more famous, since it's still being covered by singers across the world? And Ah cud Hew seems to have entered the tradition to the extent that many people sing it without knowing who wrote it?

It would be good to hear him singing "the oldest swinger in town" which is probably his most famous song.

Ed Pickford has posted clips on youtube of himself singing some of his songs, including:

Pound a Week Rise, Ah Cud Hew and Farewell Johnny Miner

among others. (google youtube folksinger43 pound a week)
