Besides appearing at this year's Falcon Ridge Festival (at the confluence of the NY CT MA borders) he will be appearing on July 22 at the Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club in Paramus NJ. Tickets are almost gone.

Sorry. I keep forgetting there is a Halifax in the UK. Our city I think was named for Lord Halifax, and not for your city so we have few people who recall there is one there. Of course, I knew about it, but I keep forgetting.

Coming up on July 3rd, Halifax will see a concert with Eric Bogle. He is coming fresh from a visit to Canso, where he is one of the acts at this year's Stan Rogers Festival.

Tickets are $20.00 and are sold by Brian Doherty of the Evans and Doherty group. The venue is the Commons Room in the Holiday Inn in Halifax.

To contact Brian, his phone number is 902-471-4889. Seating is limited, typically up to 200 I think assuming they set up with tables. Probably more if they are straight seats. One guy last night bought FOUR of them within 5 minutes of hearing about it.
