Subject: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: dick greenhaus Date: 18 Jan 05 - 09:00 PM Hi y'all- Well, the time (or at least a time) has come when we've run out of some sizes of Mudcat Tees. I'm trying to plan a re-order. Over the years, some Mudcatters have griped about the limited range of color (blue) available. Well, I've found a supplier who will not only give us a decent price but will let let me mix colors as long as I stick to the same color ink. What's more, he can supply a rainbow of colors including charcoal, brown, green, orange, red, navy, royal blue, purple and black. There's no way I'm going to stock all sizes in all colors, but if you want one or more, you can place your orders now. I'll continue to stock the old faithful Navy ones, but if you want to stand out in a crowd of 'Catters, here's your chance. |

Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: AllisonA(Animaterra) Date: 19 Jan 05 - 05:53 AM Will your supplier also offer a more "feminine" neckline? I had to cut the collar-cuff off, it throttled me so. And I hate to admit it, but I need a much smaller size... I'd love another color as well! Allison |

Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: GUEST,Mr Red Date: 19 Jan 05 - 10:23 AM There were a few red ones made. I have two and just to personalise them I had Mr Red embroidered (in red of course) in the banjo. |

Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Mrs.Duck Date: 19 Jan 05 - 01:36 PM There are certainly pictures of mudcatters wearing t shirts on the events pages. I would like a green one inthe largest size and an orange one in the smalest size for Little Duckling. Presumably Bill Sables will be organising the UK deliveries as usual? |

Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: PoppaGator Date: 19 Jan 05 - 03:06 PM MudGuard: "Hm - what I would like to have is a sweatshirt. The T-Shirt is very nice, but winter is not T-Shirt time ... " Go for one size larger than your usual (if there *is* a size larger than yours) and wear the T-shirt over a sweatshirt! Price info must be *somewhere,* huh? |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Clinton Hammond Date: 19 Jan 05 - 03:26 PM Ya... why, if this T-shirt is so 'cool', isn't there a "Buy This Shirt" page anywhere? Or is there on and I'm just too thick to find it? :-) |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Nancy King Date: 19 Jan 05 - 06:40 PM Hoo-eee! Purple! I'd love a purple one in size L, please! (and I agree with Animaterra about a ladies' style neckline, if that's a possibility). I presume that information on price and shipping and all that stuff will be forthcoming. Right, Dick? Nancy |

Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Leadfingers Date: 19 Jan 05 - 07:11 PM Sorry but I am in agreement with Mudguard - I dont wear T Shirts at all but WOULD wear a Sweatshirt !! Size 40" in any colour ! Quote me a price !! |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Susan of DT Date: 19 Jan 05 - 07:32 PM Clinton - look under quick links at the top of the page for lots of goodies. Try the events pictures after you get into the photo section. Not everyone has mudcat shirts in it. Try the Getaway 2003 - there are a few mudcat shirts in the group. The shirt Max is sporting on the tee shirt page is the original color that did not have enough contrast, so we switched to navy. Folks - there are LOTS of colors. Be specific about color and size (as many of you have done). |

Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Clinton Hammond Date: 19 Jan 05 - 11:06 PM Thanks for the link AB! That was exactly what I was looking for, and couldn't find! :-) Lemme know when you can get Black T's with white ink k... |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: artbrooks Date: 19 Jan 05 - 11:24 PM Jenn would like a (men's) medium in green, please. What color would the ink be? I already have a dark blue one, and am otherwise T and sweatshirted up. |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: dick greenhaus Date: 19 Jan 05 - 11:32 PM Let me clarify. Every color ink requires a new set-up charge, so it's much simpler to stick with the light blue we're currently using. If I were to stock colors, or different styles or sweatshirts, or whatever, each style or color would require me to lay out the money and find storage space for each item in S,M,L,XL,XXL and XXL. I'll check and see if the supplier will mix styles as well as colors, but I'm only going to obtain those that are ordered specifically. I'll publish prices, colors and (if possible) styles and types of shirt. Remember, though, that each order I place puts me in the hole for several hundred dollars, and CAMSCO doesn't sell enough CDs to give me much spare cash. |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: The Fooles Troupe Date: 19 Jan 05 - 11:38 PM Very subtle Art... ;-) |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: michaelr Date: 20 Jan 05 - 12:26 AM Dick -- did you mean for this thread to be the official order form? Or do you prefer folks call CAMSCO to get their shirts? Cheers, Michael |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: dick greenhaus Date: 20 Jan 05 - 12:09 PM michaelr- Either--but I hope that the folks who say they want to order really come through when the shirts arrive. |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Sooz Date: 20 Jan 05 - 12:39 PM Another vote for a sweatshirt - cotton please. My T shirt is very staticcy. |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: dick greenhaus Date: 20 Jan 05 - 01:22 PM Additional info: colors available (Haynes 100% cotton Beefy-Ts): White, Natural, Ash, Light steel, Aquamarine, Black, Bluestone, Cardinal, Copper, Daffodil, Deep Forest, Deep Navy, Deep Royal, Denim Blue, Eggplant, Forest, Gold, Gold Nugget, Ice Grey, Kelly Green, Light Blue, Lime, Maroon, Navy, Orange, Orange Shebert, Pebble, Pine, Purple, Red, Royal Blue, Sand, Stonewashed Blue, Stonewashed Green, Teal, Yellow A warning, though--no guarantees on how well light blue ink shows up on some of these. |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 20 Jan 05 - 01:54 PM Now a rainbow coloured one would be great... |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Clinton Hammond Date: 20 Jan 05 - 02:36 PM "no guarantees on how well light blue ink shows up" So lemme know when I can get a black-T, with white ink :-) Glow-in-the-dark ink would be cool too! LOL |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Pauline L Date: 20 Jan 05 - 09:10 PM Dick, I'd like a size L. Should I specify the color after you tell us what you're getting? I like the following colors: aquamarine, forest, eggplant, gold, gold nugget, pine, purple, teal. I don't know the difference between gold and gold nugget; forest and pine; and eggplant and purple. I promise that I will pay you. Thanks for doing all this work for such independent minded, artsy folks. |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Bob Bolton Date: 20 Jan 05 - 10:13 PM G'day ClintonHammond, As someone who has done a fair bit of custom T-shirt printing over the years .. the answer to your request: "... lemme know when I can get a black-T, with white ink ..." would be something like: "Several weeks more ... and anywhere from $20 to $50 extra ... depending ...!" If the 'silk'-screen is a good, fine detailed, one (and my memory of my Mudcat T-shirt, at home, is that it is) - then the much thicker and less tractable opague white won't go through - and will gum up the screen. I have had to make special (coarser) screens for bands that want "roadie" style (black T-shirts with white printing) ... and it isn't economical for one-offs. How Dick's printers work (especially now that screens are moving away from synthetic fabric to stainless steel mesh) is another question. Regards, Bob |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Joybell Date: 20 Jan 05 - 10:56 PM Yes thank you, Dick. I promise I'll come through too. I've put my order in but I'll add it here too. Purple (or whatever a dark purple is called) XL. Please. Cheers, Joy |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: rich-joy Date: 21 Jan 05 - 03:08 AM Yeah, I 'll vote for an XL cotton Sweatshirt too, if there's a chance of them - and first preference is for the "eggplant" colour. (or at a pinch, purple, or forest green ...)!!! Thanks Dick, for this opportunity to order. Cheers! R-J |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Susan of DT Date: 22 Jan 05 - 08:25 PM Since some folks have asked: The shirts we're looking at are all-cotton, 6.1 oz fabric. Medium: 38-40 Large: 42-44 XLarge: 46-48 XXLarge: 50-52 XXXLarge: 54-56 |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Alaska Mike Date: 13 Mar 05 - 01:09 AM How's the T-shirt order going Dick? Where do I send my MONEY? Hot diggity. |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Alba Date: 13 Mar 05 - 06:40 AM Count me in for one Dick. Animaterra says "Will your supplier also offer a more "feminine" neckline? I had to cut the collar-cuff off, it throttled me so" I too have a problem with too tight at the neck things...I can't stand anything tight on my neck (past life experience maybe..lol). Are there any options on necklines for the girlies/womanies:>) If not I too will cut the neckline out...so in any event I would like a Medium, Cotton, Stonewash Green one please.. Will you post to thread when payment is required or PM Folks? Just let me know when you require the moola $$$$ Thank you Sir. Blessings Jude |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Alba Date: 13 Mar 05 - 06:54 AM Dick...rethink on my part. Make it a "Large" to allow for wash shrinkage. Thank you Jude |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Stilly River Sage Date: 13 Mar 05 - 03:33 PM I thought I'd added my voice to this, but don't see my name above. I'd like a shirt in medium Deep Forest (the less constricting neckline also sounds good, if you can manage it). Post the details (or alternate color choices, etc.) when you have them! SRS |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: gnu Date: 13 Mar 05 - 04:12 PM I did not read this thread. Just moments ago I sent an email to Max asking about hats. How many would buy hats? Speak up 'Catters. I'm going to BS this too. |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: John MacKenzie Date: 13 Mar 05 - 06:19 PM Hats yaaaaaaay, let's hear it for hats! Giok |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Clinton Hammond Date: 13 Mar 05 - 07:27 PM Hats, as in 'ball caps'? Pass.... |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Fibula Mattock Date: 14 Mar 05 - 05:21 AM I would like to point out that I have furthered mudcat publicity by appearing in the Bristol Evening Post newspaper (Saturday magazine supplement), fuzzily in the background with a shiny fiddle in the foreground, and proudly wearing my mudcat t-shirt. I think all visual appearances of mudcat apparel deserve reward and thus demand a rainbowed array of new t-shirts. And a grey one. |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: gnu Date: 14 Mar 05 - 06:58 AM Dick Greenhaus asked, on the BS thread, asked 'what kind of hat'. I was thinking ball caps (peaked caps). Their cheap. Dick also mentioned that the style varies and some me not be pleased with the style chosen. Therefore, Dick has suggested patches which could be sewn on hats. |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: gnu Date: 14 Mar 05 - 04:29 PM JennyO has suggested on the BS sister thread that patches would be a good idea because they could be worn as eye patches. Arrrrr! |
Subject: RE: A Rainbow of Mudcat T-shirts? From: Susan of DT Date: 14 Mar 05 - 08:45 PM We have still got lots of patches from the order a few years ago - the mudcat jumping in the banjo. |
