This is the type of dog that can be very useful to folks who are proactive about cleaning their houses. You send them under the furniture to snag dust kittens with that feathery coat, then use something like one of those tape rollers to pick the lint off the dog. I suppose if you spritz her with a little Pledge before sending her under she could polish wood floors also. :)

she is a cutie, always sitting on me or one of the other dogs. I will have to show you the pile of weiner dogs sleeping. All packed on top of eachother go figure, those dogs just love to do that

Our Merlee is anti-social when it comes to other dogs, unless they are introduced in a very careful manner. We keep thinking we need to get a young'un for him to train, but 1] it's difficult to find a McNab close-by and 2] we're reluctant to put him through too much stress, though when he came along he really perked up the old dog we had then. It was obvious he needed more company of his own kind, so maybe the same holds true for Merls.

Ok so Doolie is my thousand year old rescue NO TEETH weiner dog. No kidding he doesn't have a tooth in his head, I rescued him and fell in love. So he was out playing in the yard last summer and I get this letter in the mail it reads
"Your local postman will not deliver your mail if you leave you dog outside without a leash" NOW my town is 2500 people, everyone knows Doolie

So I trot Doolie to the Post office and plop him on the counter and ask for the Postmaster. He is sitting there tail is wagging, tongue hanging out of his toothless mouth and I tell the Postmaster. This is the vicious dog that your carrier is afraid of ... he doesn't even have teeth ... what will he do press a crease in the guys pants .. she started laughing so hard I though she would fall over. Then picked up Doolie and started petting him ...

Well I switched to PO box so the guy won't be terrified if he encounters my 8 lb toothless weiner dog

an old codger was in the dog park with his four legged friend on a leash. A young man in a suit was walking by and couldn't help but observe, "mister that is the UGLIEST dog I've ever seen! You could fight that dog and nothing done to it could make it look any uglier!"
The old man said: "He's not afraid of a little fight..."
The young man turned and revealed that his dog was a well conditioned pit bull, "I'll fight him here and now." and with a few well chosen words launched the pit bull at the other animal. which proceeded to wipe the ground with it and leave it quite literally in tatters.
"My God!" said the suited one, "what the hell is that thing?"

"Well, before he got his nose fixed," said the old man, "he was a alligator!"

Same scenario. Guy in a bar says his dog can beat any four of theirs at the same time. Thousands of dollars on the line. The guy's dog cleans them all in less than twenty seconds. Then then ask the guy what kinda dog it was. He replied, "I have NO idea. My brother in Africa sent him to me. I shaved the hair from his neck and that fluffy piece at the end of his tail. I've got one wiener dog and can't imagine having three.

Of course, since having her on the truck with me, I just had my 1st DOT physical in 10 years that they didn't question my blood pressure.

She's about 5 now and looks just like Dunke.

Her name is Minnie Pearl, and she says HOWDIE.
