I include myself in this category. I keep posting here there and everywhere. I argue with people who should be certified insane. I probably should be certified insane myself. There are people here and in other places who would, in any other circumstance, be taken away for further analysis. But I keep on coming back. Why?

My feeling is that a lot of dogs are idiots. I can only go by those I have known, mind you. I'd say that about half of them were idiotic in one sense or another. ;-)

The thing is, idiots are noticeable. They're more noticeable than reasonable people. This causes them to appear much more prevalent than they actually are. That's my theory.

Accidental idiots are fine. We all screw up sometimes. But, gosh, to me it's the ones who can't drive a grocery cart so I don't have to ask them to let me by when they block the aisles or the ones who can't figure out that their only job while stopped at a traffic light is to watch the fucking light. Why can't people actually look around themselves and be polite to others?

It's as if being rude to others is some sort of statement, enforced and lauded by so called comedy shows like "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report" and so on. Just be obnoxious or rude... it's fun. Sick puppies, I say.

One thing about the Internet and going on to forums like this, is you are unlikely to be kicked in the head for saying something that somebody else takes offence at.

Its funny that, how people use the word "Idiot" to people and do not realise the hurt it can create. Ask my Autistic daughter.

I don't take the politically correct approach and the title of this thread does not offend me, as it is a global statement.

However when it's directed at one individual, who's fault it is not, then I get upset.

Whilst trawling our local supermarket,I sometimes decide to park the grocery cart somewhere in a "quiet"corner",round by the Frozen Stir Fry Lizzard's Gizzards, for example,only to come back and find 27 half crazed Gizzards junkies climbing over everything and everybody, in the vain attempt at seizing a packet containing their required daily dose.And I never park over by the Cold Turkey counter!
My wife,who is a very good driver,often seems to fall into a light stupor at the lights.She actually turned the engine off once!
We never arrive anywhere on time!

Sorry, we're having a rain event here today. From Friday morning until just before church on Sunday we had 2&aquarter inches. We are promised almost 3in. before dawn tomorrow (Wednesday). We are on the road between Austin & Houston(in Texas). This morning as I coaxed the dog out for her "constitutional" she gave me that look: "When will you creatures learn the wisdom of coming in out of the rain. I keep trying to point it out...." Gratefully, I tell you that, though 13 and nearly blind, and very slow of foot and leg, she seems to be persevering in teaching us--not ready to call it hopeless.
Do you suppose that's it? They've figured out that we're retar....um...intelligence challenged? and they're being patient with us, hoping for a breakthrough???         Tw

As some have noted here, most dogs are idiots. At times, they can be even more disgusting than children. Not often, mind you. But such idiotic things have been known to happen. The fact that such ocassions are rarely documented is proof, IMO, of just how bad it is. Just imagine if dogs could get on the internet. Where would we all be then?

But cats are no idiots. Hence the saying 'dogs have owners, cats have staff'.

And I completely disagree that dogs are even more disgusting than children. I don't have anything, really, against either one, but I've never been as disgusted by anything a dog has done to me/on me as I have been by some of the Exorcist reenactments perpetrated by some of the children I've known.
