Well, well, well...

Seems that I was the last person in the country to file my taxes for 2007 and in doing so triggered the last stimulis check from the $300B Stimulis Bill and so here the P-Vine are with a check for $600 and big responsibilities on our hands...

Oh, what to do... There is so much riding on how to spend it so that the economy will bounch back...

Other than send it to you, ya'll got any ideas???

Oh, the pressure...

(That'll teach you for filing last, Boberdz...)

I have seen the errors of my ways.... I sho nuff have...

It should be $1200.00. The government done ripped you off.

But, in my generosity, I'll let you sign the check over to me and I'll use it to help out some poor old folks here in Idaho.

Hang onto it until after January 20th. If you spend it now, you'll just have to go to some mall and waste it. But if you wait for the new administration, you can spend it on something really constructive, like bailing out General Motors.

Seriously, all the media pundits are debating the choices to be made to save the economy. The only concensus was that an astronomical amount of money be set aside instantly to be used with virtually no real oversight or disclisure.

How the money is spent is discussed as though we have a choice.

The choice is not yours. More importantly, the choice is not what we think it is.

Suppose for a moment that it could be revealed to you what the money was for. Would you really want to know?
As in medical ethics there are times when complete disclosure and transparency are issues that are weighed and allocated carefully.

All the clues are before us. There are hundreds of clues. As with a terminal disease, the patient has suspicions and a subjective inner knowledge of the possibility of a possible terminal event.

So you see where this is going. I can innumerate the clues which are in diverse sciences and disciplines.

They include the
Financial
and the invention of synthetic collaterallized debt instruments and the rest of the financial schemes which were all modeled to fail and fail catastrophicly. They were modeled by physicists from NASA and not merely PHD economists.

Astronomical
and the Earth now midway through the dust plane ecliptic of the the Milky Way galaxy. This region merely acts like drag with increased friction in comparison to the region of space the Earth normally moves through 99% of the time. The spin of the Earth is like a top spinning with a slight revolving tilt. When you watch a top when it has lost a bit of energy you will see it take a sudden LARGE wobble. It is this possible approching wobble that is emmbedded in the Earth's physical history.

Geologic and Palentogical evidence point to events when 6 million square milles of forest were suddenly flash frozen in the Antarctic, as well as in Siberia when Mammoths were flash frozen in mid chew within a forest that included Pear trees.

The Bush administration is not known for envioronmental concerns yet we have just completed a multi billion dollar seed bank near the Arctic. We have been drilling with miltary tunnel machines similar to the Chunnel machines beneath the Rockies and creating vast facilities.

Unknown and untracable amounts of cash have gone into projects that merely used the Iraq war as a cover story but much more was needed more quickly.

Yes there is impending danger, but it is not now or has ever been truely about terrorists. It is about risking everything and every dollar on the preservation of viable samples of life including humans to survive a geologic event beyond the scope of mile wide asteroid.

Every climate and every continent will be changed beyond recognition in as little time as 90 days to a year. When the tidal waves recede and rifts cease it will be a new landscape with a scant few legacies of our civilization to be seen.

The great wobble I speak of is not the magnetic pole shift but the entire Earth making a rapid departure from our current axis and after some wild perterbations settling on a new axis that will provide an equilibrium given the new aspect of the lowered energy state of our rotation.

This has nothing to do with black holes or massive bodies pulling the Earth completly out of orbit. This region of space known as the galaxtic plane full of dust and other "debris" does have an effect on every other body in our solar system with some planets merely heating up and others capable of actual orbital and axis perturbations.

So given this "intelligence briefing", the appearence of whether we bail out GM or not is really not the issue.
The issue is letting the party go on the best it can while fullfilling an obligation to insure the perpetuation of our species and other life forms necessary fot the survival of an event that the Earth has known every 40 million years.

For those of you who have always voiced a curiosity regarding UFOS, you may be glad to know that they do esist and are artifacts from previous solutions to the cyclical distruction of their time on the planet. They do go at near relativistic speeds for years and thusly can go into a future hundreds of thousands of years. They are on a one way trip into the future to aid in the critical moments such as the great wobble that is essentially only 5 years from today.

For those who say this fullfills bible prophecy or Mayan predicitions or that this proves Velikovsky right, you may take whatever solace that this gives you.

All we can do whether we are "in the loop" or not is to create what love you can share every day and be happy. In my way of thinking, total transparency can only encourage and not discourage. Perhaps this may only be true for the enlightened, but we should all have an equal opportunity to know the future without excluding certain temperments and personalilities.

So enjoy yourselves, its later than you think.

And don't let a little thing like a great depression get you down.

Very interesting stuff, Donuel. I've heard similar predictions before about the possibility of such an axis shift. Where are you getting your information from?

I don't personally worry much about such matters, because there's nothing I can do about such an event, little chance of personal survival if it happened...and I'm going to die eventually anyway...but I do find the subject quite interesting in any case.

If it does happen, it will serve as the Earth's natural ecological renewal mechanism. Humanity's industrial expansion will be checked and everything will get a fresh chance to start over again...humanity included. It would, in effect, be the end of our entire historical era.

Something has been bothering me all day. About a month ago baby bush and his band of merry men were giving Congress less than three days to approve a $700 Billion package to bail out failing banks.

Remember? Approve it by Friday. Monday will be too late?
They got the approval and the money but now no one is exactly sure where the money is going but it is NOT going to the banks. So did they lie? Both about the need and the timeline?

I think it's fascinating Bobert is putting more thought into his $600 than the government did into 700 Billion.

Well, thankee, Sins... I don't take this stuff lightly... I figurated that someone had to step to the plate and act responsibly....(((burp)))... Excuse me... So I figurated that the most honorable thing I could do is keep the ppor guy down at the Iron City brewery employed... I mean, he's got kids...

Right???

Nevermind that... yeah, I purdy pissed off that after we have given, what, 100 trillion dollars to Wall Street, that now we ain't sure where the money went or even if it was a good idea...

I mean, they coulda just given evryone who makes under like, ahhhhhh, $50,000 a year a bunch of money and that money would now be spent paying bills and sending kids to college and it would be in the economy... GNP ain't about how many dollars there are but how many times they get spent... Rich people just hide it in Swiis banks and the Camine Islands... That don't help the economy...

I'm buying US brewed beer, gol danged it, and I plan on drenkin' it, too... Ain't gonna hide my Iron City offshore... No sir 'er mame... I'm drenking it...

That is what true patriots do... Drenk!!!

Them cans and things they put the IC in come from China. So by drinkin' Iron City yer proppin' up the Commies!

Now, if you wuz out here I'd take ya down to the Brewery and you could have real American beer brewed in America and served in good American glasses and bottles. And Penny, who runs the joint, don't allow no fights, neither. Friday and sometimes Saturday nights she's got live music upstairs, maybe blues or folk or nearly anything. Good AMERICAN music (lessen it's Irish or Canadian or German or Utahan or something like them).

I am so confused!!!

I love Iron City but if it's commie beer than, geeze??? This has put a hurt on my head...

(But, Boberdz... You is a commie, ain'tche???)

Well, yeah???

(Then tell Penny to stick that American beer up her....)

No, I can't do that either... I mean, shine is 100% American and shine is good... No make that very good... So Penny is prolly a real nice lady... Sniff... I mean, it ain't like I know her but if she makes beer and lets blues players play at her joint then maybe it's time to give up Pittsburg and Iron City Beer if they is all a bunch of commies...

I am so conflicted!!!

I', thinking of sending the $600 back... This is way too much resposibility...

Maybe we need to a pool our stimulis checks and buy like a bigass commercial refrigerator 'er a down payment on a Humvee to get the economy jump started...

Nah, Bush is allready gonna give those folks billions but I ain't heard that the Iron City folks are headed to Washigton with their hats in their hands so...

LH
My post was just a science fiction story that I was thinking about.
The big earthquake and sunami several years ago had the effect of speeding up the rotation of the Earth by having several trillion tons of rock sink deeperm thus increasing our spin like a figure skater drawing in her arms while spinning. As a result the net result of moving through the galactic plane will actually only pose asteroid dangers and not a slowing of our spin.

OUR STIMULOUS CHECK WAS SEIZED BY AN UNKNOWN BANK.

I owed $259 dollars on a student loan 40 years ago. I lost track of the bank since it got sold and then resold to no less than 10 other banks while adding transfer fees and penalties. I am yet unable to find out who owns the note now but Congress passed a law to make the IRS give them any refund to go toward the note.

The note now stands at over $50,000.

Where did the $700 billion go? Cheney is stuffing his pockets as fast as he can.

But don't sweat the small stuff.

Well, now. . . .

I saw an episode of NOVA some weeks back entitled "How the Earth Was Made." I knew most of this from when I took a batch of astronomy classes, but NOVA always has good graphics. Anyway, it illustrated and explained the evolution of the earth, which, of course involved a number of planetary catastrophes it went through during the past 4.5 billion years, many of which are not that long apart. Several times life evolved to a point and then it was almost wiped out by some global cataclysm. Life pretty much started again from scratch and began evolving once again. Who knows when the next cataclysm will come? But it will come.

Add to that the fact that the earth consists of a core of boiling iron covered with the slag that floats to the top. We're living on that crust of slag. There's quite a bit of pretty scary stuff that goes on as a matter of course not all that far under our feet.

Sure makes ya feel secure, now don't it?

Add to this the recent discovery that most galaxies, including our own Milky Way, have gigantic black holes at their centers, into which stars, planets, and all kinds of stuff are being sucked. If you take a look at astronomical photos of spiral galaxies (our own Milky Way is a spiral galaxy), it doesn't take much imagination to realize that we are circling the drain!

Sweet dreams. . . .

Don Firth

Well, Rap... I allready own 2 Chevette's, I think??? Well, my couzin Rufus borrowed a couple hunnert bucks from me about 10 years ago and let me hold the titles to two of his 7 Chevettes so I reckon they're still mine...

No go on the Yugo 'casue there ain't "no go" to them... Heck, whaddaya think that war was about in the 90's... It wasn't because of ethnic cleansing... It was because Yugoslavia dumped them stinkers on US... That's the way it really went down...

So maybe a Gremlin??? Heck, I could prolly get one of them and still have a few bucks left over fir a few cases of Iron City... Maybe even crack open a chilly one drivin' the Gremlin home... Maybe even make the front page of the Page Corrier when they are arresting me for DAUC (Drivin' An Ugly Car) and then find the "open container" and bust me for that, too...

Yeah, that outta stimulate somethin'...

This subject is not too funny. I have a friend who sings this song and it chills my blood- he drinks too much.

He'd get home at five-thirty
Fix a drink and sit down in his chair
Pick a fight with momma
Complain about the kids gettin' in his hair
At night he'd sit alone and smoke
I'd see his frown behind the lighter's flame
Now that same frown's in my mirror
I got my daddy's blood inside my veins.

Fish swim, birds fly
Daddies yell, mommas cry
Old men sit and think
I Drink.

Chicken TV dinner
Six minutes on defrost, three on high
Beer to wash it down then another
Some whiskey on the side
It's not so bad alone here
It don't bother me that every night's the same
I don't need another lover hangin' around
Tryin' to make me change.

Fish swim, birds fly
Lovers leave, by and by
Old men sit and think
I Drink.

I know what I am
But I don't give a damn.

Fish swim, birds fly
Daddies yell, mommas cry
Old men sit and think
I drink.

I drink.
