Subject: RE: BS: Secret Santa messages 2009 From: GUEST,My Guru always said -- Her Santa Date: 17 Nov 09 - 03:24 PM Well it's into the bin with the Pink Fruit. *sigh* And here was I thinking, "What an excellent collection of gifts I have for my special Santee this year!" Hmmm -- Well now -- How to send a Secret Garden -- secretly -- up-hill all the way to your home. Do not be troubled. This will be fun. Kindly Santa of the Magic Type to the Magic One. |
Subject: RE: BS: Secret Santa messages 2009 From: GUEST,Severn's serendipitously poised SS Date: 17 Nov 09 - 03:29 PM Goodness me, what a lot of questions! I think for the time being at least I will remain ambiguous as to my gender, and all I'll say about the continence question is that it will be a long distance journey to reach you, involving refuelling the reindeer along the way and possibly some comfort stops for me. You are kind to ask about refreshments. For myself, a piece of chocolate cake accompanied by a decent drop of Scotch (or indeed Irish) spirituous liqueur. The reindeer will be happy with the traditional carrots, while the elves (I anticipate having a few with me)are omniverous and greedy and have been known to consume vast amounts of chocolate (although their preference is for the Belgian kind). Now you really must excuse me as it's a particularly busy time of year .... |

Subject: RE: BS: Secret Santa messages 2009 From: GUEST,Maeve's Secret Santa Date: 18 Nov 09 - 04:30 AM You will be pleased to know that the Christmas Robins have told me that you have been a very good girl this year and deserve something very nice at Christmas. Mary Christmas and I have been on the look out and have found some little things we think you might like. Rudolf has offered to help wrap the presents but he is not really that good although we will let him help. If you find a wobbly wrapped present under your tree you will know who has wrapped it. Santa xx |
Subject: RE: BS: Secret Santa messages 2009 From: maeve Date: 18 Nov 09 - 06:24 AM Thank you very much, Santa. I'd be delighted to receive a wobbly, Rudolf-wrapped little gift. He and the other reindeer will enjoy some of our homegrown apples and carrots. I am as yet undecided whether you and the delightful Mary Christmas would prefer applejack with some apple pie and sharp cheddar or hot chocolate with shortbread for your snack. A ham sandwich on homemade bread? A glass of Sheepscot ale? Hmmm. I must have a chat with wee robin. Trying hard to be good...friends here say I'm quite trying. maeve, |

Are you certain that there isn't another possible Although our secret garden is almost at the top of a hill, our postman has it sussed as his delivery route is always downhill. I would hope that your elves will find that downhill is much easier, wouldn't want them to tire themselves out at Christmastime *grin* Will they have far to travel? Please don't trouble too much on my account, I'm certain that you have excellent taste! Hil (being really good, though there's always room for a lump of coal on our log-burner) |
