Just got off the phone with my Couzin Rufus who has volunteered to be yer surrogate flagilator... He's even willin' to drive Retha Mea's Chevette all the way to Ohio and sit with ya' an' any time ya' want he'll rip one off upon command... Plus, Perry up at the Sweet Springs Store has volunteered to throw in a case of Uncle Pete's BBQ'd Pork Rines and a twelvepack of Iron City so let me tell ya' that it will be like old times...

I'm an aspawist. I don't believe in spaw anymore. And I really can't believe in his return, just as I no longer believe in the Tooth Fairy. (This is not to imply that spaw, if he does indeed exist, partakes in any way any part of fairydom.)

I was an aspawist for a short time in my youth, but then I realized that aspawism was simply too narrow a definition for someone like me to be constricted by. I no longer call myself an aspawist, because people might not understand. ;-) Anyway, it's silly to deny the existence of something like Spaw when there's no way of proving that he doesn't exist. ;-)

And if he didn't...then what?

For Spaw -

A guy goes to pick up his date for the evening. She's not ready yet, so he has to sit in the living room with her parents.

He has a bad case of gas and really needs to relieve some pressure.

Luckly, the family dog jumps up on the couch next to him. He decides that he can let a little fart out and if anyone notices they will think that the dog did it.

He farts, and the woman yells, "Spot, get down from there."

The guy thinks, "Great, they think the dog did it." He releases another fart, and the woman again yells for the dog to get down.

This goes on for a couple more farts. Finally the woman yells, "Dammit Spot, get down before he shits on you."

Thanks again......Things have evened out the past few days. No more giant leaps but continued progress. Its now I realize how really long this is going to be. On the other hand, I survived two months in the hospital so a few months to heal should be a walk in the park.......or not. Whatever it is, I'm slugging on forward!!!
