Somewhere around 45 years or so back, Jean was at the Hindmann Settlement School and I saw and heard the real meaning of "authentic." A small group of us had come down from Berea and we all went back with a very new feeling about some very old music. Thanks for it all Jean.......and Happy Birthday!

We fondly remember our time together with you in Long Island, just a couple short years ago, with Oscar, Jon, and, of course, George. You tickled me so by singing "A gentleman came to our house..." which I hadn't heard since childhood, when you sang it at the Chicago folk festival.
