Subject: RE: December 8 - Happy Birthday Jean Ritchie From: kytrad (Jean Ritchie) Date: 09 Dec 03 - 07:27 PM Heartfelt thanks to all you loving folks...not knowing this thread was here, I just stumbled onto it today- I'm still surprised and a little bit tear-y. George and I flew home on December 5th from Indiana in our big blizzard, and there's still about 12" of snow all round our house. Beautiful, peaceful, but that journey was fearful; I've been recuperating ever since and today the sun came glowing and lit up our world. Hadn't a chance to visit Mudcat in weeks, and just before going down to supper tonight, I thought, well, I'll just look in... yes, my family took me out to dinner here in our little town- it was a good celebration. Thanks again,- love and blessings to all.. Jean |
