Subject: ...and the Nightingale says, '... From: Gabriel Date: 01 Nov 99 - 11:22 PM I went to a 'gathering of hippies' the other day (that's what they called it) and I heard the most awesome song. The opening lyrics are as such:
"Standing by a wishing well
And as I turned away
ch: Oh, won't you stay
(I'm not sure about this part)
And as I turned to leave I believe that that is how it went. I have been looking since for any info on the song and any help by anyone would be greatly appreciated. I do know that it was a cover and not a original as the singer said so before she began to sing. Can anyone please help me, as, yes, even us PunkRockers have a soft side. Thanks!! Gabriel |

It's in the middle of a fabulous comedy album, and I literally cried the first time I heard it. It might very well be my favorite song. I LOVE SANDRA!! Glad to find this thread appreciating it. |
