it's also an excellent album, as are all the CDs in the series

The festival folk sing project brings together singers & musicians to record their own arrangements of songs written by influential & important songwriters.The concept was created by Marina Hurley in 2010 who wanted to capture the creative talents of the many artists who perform fantastic arrangements of other artists’ songs, yet often don’t record them. All profits go to the Troubadour Foundation.

I have ' The Songs of Eric Bogle ' pubished by Ossian [ not dated ], seems to have all the same songs in it, must be 20 years old.

Last month Eric launched The Eric Bogle Songbook with a performance at Adelaide's Harrison Music. video of launch

The Eric Bogle Songbook features twenty four of his best loved songs in PVG (Piano Vocal Guitar) format, eight of which are in print for the first time. Featuring new liner notes from Bogle revealing the story behind each song, this collection of classic songs includes many of his best loved including 'And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda', 'Leaving Nancy', 'Shelter', 'My Youngest Son Came Home Today', 'No Man's Land' and 'The Aussie Bar B-Que Song'.
