Hi ya'll.

I found the words to this song on The Mudcat, but I was wondering if anyone knows who all recorded it. I usually manage to hear it about once this time of year, but I've never heard who recorded it or wrote it.

Do any of you know anything about this quirky little tune? I'd love to hear what you all ahve to say.

Thanks.

Rolf Harris performed it but I will have to check to see if he also wrote it.

It's attributed to Rolf on several sites I visited.

Thanks Musicman, but well, although I have a computer, I'm not real good at operating it. The above MIDI thing-a-ma-jig is pretty foreign to me. BUt I really do appreciate the effort you put into it!

I have just put it onto Mudcat MIDIs.... all you have to do is click on it Marki...

I also know a different first verse to the one in the database

I couldn't get the tune to play from the database either...

Early on one Christmas Day a joey kangaroo
Was far from home and lost in a great big zoo
"Mummy, Where's my Mummy? They've taken her away."
"I'll help you find your Mommy, son
Hop up on the sleigh."

Also the penultimate verse should start

Soon the sleigh was flashing past, right over Marble Bar
