Subject: Spotify Playlists to Share From: Joe Offer Date: 31 Oct 18 - 11:56 AM Somebody send me a list of playlists for songs in the Hal Leonard Real Bluegrass book. I listened to one, and really enjoyed it. Anyone else have playlists to share? -Joe-
I hope and trust this year is treating you well. We spoke last year about Rise Up Singing and Rise Again playlists. I’ve compiled a new set of playlists for the Hal Leonard “The Real Bluegrass Book” with arrangements by Matt Finner. Like the others, I’ve chosen 1-3 good examples of all the songs in the book, with emphasis on finding original artist, well-known versions, exceptional playing etc. Good just for listening, or music study, or for a really good overview of bluegrass music over the past 80 or so years. Here’s a copy of all the links to the individual playlists: Together in music. Subject: RE: Spotify Playlists to Share From: FreddyHeadey Date: 05 Nov 18 - 10:47 AM I use Spotify playlists more as a "tag" rather than as artfully constructed entities for playing in sequence. So they're best played on 'shuffle'. fwiw here are a few folk - accompanied voice folk - instrumental folk - a cappella folk - shanty\sea and non-folk for putting myself to sleep "Dreamy" and to wake myself up"Might make you smile" https://open.spotify.com/user/headey Favourites are in a dozen lists titled "cocktails" but they're not particularly folky. |

Intended as background music, not intense listening! |
