Subject: Spiers and Boden reincarnated From: Dave the Gnome Date: 22 Jan 24 - 10:18 AM OK - I know it is about 3 years since they got back together but I ain't seen 'em since the Bellowhead days. Hoping to see thin in Settle at the end of next month - Anyone else seen them since they restarted? I love this quote from their web page :-D "I guess we were looking for songs during lockdown with a sense of fun and light relief. I realise that there are zero songs about death on this album, which is probably a first and may get us expelled from the English Folk Dance & Song Society. Yes, traditional songs with a joyous edge". Jon Boden. |
