I never had the pleasure of seeing Gordon Bok in person; but I have admired his work for a long time. I just got some albums from Folk-Legacy and they show photographs of Bok, Muir & Trickett. Which one is Bok. The one with moustache and glasses or the male without?

Spaw: I recently confused "pitch pipe" and "tuning fork" and called the gadget that gives a 440 a a "pitch fork". I wonder if he would like his moustache tuned with that.

Thanks for the site Mark. I am using my text browser and so I couldn't see any of the pictures; but I have bookmarked it for next time I open up Netscape. If he comes to Sydney I will jump at the chance.

Murray, maybe he can stop off in Hawaii on the way. I last saw Gordon in Portland (Oregon) in 1994, just before moving here. He's one of the reasons I almost wish I still lived on the East Coast.

Just for the record. My work on tuning with the pitchfork is all "R". I haven't had a chance to perform any "D" with it. I think I would prefer to "D" it using somebody else's moustache rather than my own.

MURRAY!!!! What HAVE you been up to? Here we are this far along into the marketing and you're behind on the development and there isn't any field testing yet? Man you gotta' get on the stick!!! Surely there are some moustachioed idiots, uh......guys......yeah, that's it.... some guys who would be willing to test for you. Come to think of it, there might be some girls too................

Anyway, get on with it!!! I've got a TV ad in the works pushing the Australian end of this since all things Aussie seem to sell well in the States. Plus, as soon as you send me one I plan on letting a few local Amish try it. Then we can say its Australian AND Amish, and from that point on, the sky's the limit!!!!

I think you guys should apologize to Gordon for turning a simple request for information about him into a business plan for mushfork pitchpipe bloomers, or whatever it is you're selling. Or at least give him a cut. Of the profits, I mean.
(We can always hope he doesn't read this thread. Maybe Joe could change the title to "Hey Gordon! Don't read this one, OK?")
