I play it with a capo on the 2nd fret. Start with a C chord. Then it turns into a fairly simple C-F-G.

As I recall his favorite tuning is an open D. Good luck with the chord shapes.

I'd be grateful if any of you guitar wizards out there could help me out with the tuning and chord shapes as used by Richie on his version of the George Harrison classic..............By the way I'm learning a lot from following the tips and ideas on the forum.
