I'm trying to learn a coupla' songs from Jimmie Rodgers's CD "Train Whistle Blues." I can't really figure out what chords he is using. The ones I am trying to figure out are "Hard Time Blues," "High Powered Mama," "New Orleans Blues," "Train Whistle Blues." Of course, I need the chords for the yodeling part also. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, folks.

Although I'm not familiar with the specific songs you list above, Jimmie Rodgers' yodel breaks are usually done to a I, V7, I chord progression. Or C, G7, C for example. I hope this gets you started.
Jim

There are several web sites devoted to Jimmie Rodgers' music. Here's one that has chords for a few songs: Click here. Here's another, with lots more: Click here. If you want to search for more, be sure you use the correct spelling: Jimmie Rodgers, not jimmy rogers.
