Subject: Jimmy Rogers..anyone have tapes? Background.. From: GaryD Date: 24 Mar 99 - 09:20 PM I have a good friend to whom I owe a lot for getting me going again musically. He is very interested in Jimmie Rodgers..knows he yodels, but doesn't know any of his songs. I used to have records of Rodgers, but my entire country music collection, including the Rodgers stuff was stolen. If anybody could help me get recordings of his, I'd appreciate it. I also am listed with the personal pages. Also, both Dick & I are interested in any background information, history, or anecdotal stuff about the man. Anybody out there who can help? Thanks..Gary |

You can read about them at the Rounder site They are also available from Bear Family at a much higher price, but with nicer packaging and much more extensive notes (60 page booklet). Also, you can buy the Rounder albums as you see fit, while the ones from Bear Family are available only as a set. |
