Yes, anonymous flamer, I thought I was pretty smart, deleting your request for porno links before somebody got a chance to respond to it. Then I went to bed, and you started this thread and garnered 40 responses. I haven't been able to convince Mudcatters that they should never respond to flame threads.
I have nothing against discussions of pornography, but your threads were requests for links to pornography. I figured you could find those on your own.

No doubt there is a 'best musical score' gong at the Porn Oscars. I don't think too much effort goes into matching the music to the action in this area.

What's wrong with porno is the same thing that's wrong with huge amounts of other mental junkfood. It makes you fat and grows hair on the palms of your hands. But worse, it i (kind of like Eminem) degrades a form of human experience and beauty into a brute commodity. I have seen some stuff used as porno which has powerful aesthetic sense in it -- mostly, for some reason, in black and white. But the hardcore stuff I think needs to be relegated to the purpose of entertaining animals and idiots who are trying to evolve into lizards.

That said, I suppose even Lizards have the right to communicate,

The problem with porn is that it purports to be reality, but it is fantasy. Thus it makes people expect fantasy in real life, and thus disappoints them, making them in a sense sexually unfit for real life. Unless the fantasy is a violent one, in which case (alas!) they are able to make the fantasy real by themselves.

But I was supposed to be humorous, wasn't I?

I think it totally depends. Naked cheerleaders is one thing (assuming they are adult). Even then, I think it has sorry effects upon relationships, development, marriage, family, etc. When pornography is involving children, or is linked with violence or degradation of people, it is way way beyond that and every law enforcement effort and public disapproval should be called upon to eradicate it. mg
