Allison, why not check to see if anyone at the mandolincafe.com forum knows how to reach Mark or has the album and can check the liner notes? He is mentioned there in several discussions.

Right, Joe, and that's all anyone can find out. We are playing the Berlin Waltz from this recording and would love to attribute it properly, but I can't even find recent contact info for Mark Howard.

Hmmm. allmusic.com doesn't have attributions for the songs. discogs.org has a track listing, and says the album was originally a cassette produced for Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores. The producer of the album was Mark Howard, who owned the Signal Path Sound studio in Nashville, Tennessee. Howard was also a musician on the album.

I've been trying to find something, anything, about the tracks on this recording. We had the cd long ago but put it on our computers and now we can't read the liner notes. Are the tunes original? By whom? We're playing the Berlin waltz (mandolin and accordion) and want to attribute it correctly.

apparently that is Howard's new studio address as I found it listed as a contact at the bottom of a discography page connected to what looked like his own site

if you go to www.google.com and type in "Mark Howard Paramour Studio" you will get a link to info on his studio, including pictures

I did find the album listed on Yahoo, but it said it was unavailable

im still looking for a copy(cd or cassette)of the album,mandolins and friends...the music company distributor says it's out of print,but it's not out of my mind...produced by mark howard,it's an album of wonderful traditional music using the acoustical instruments,mandolin,guitar,hammer dulcimer,dobro,etc....anyone who can help will be blessed by thegood lord above....you bet!

i am still looking for the album,Mandolin & Friends,with mark howard,jerry douglas...a cd or cassette in used condition will be acceptable for me...i've tried half.com website and no luck either... anyone have a copy or can burn a cd copy for me or make me a tape cassette copy for me....thanks,chuck...
