Subject: RE: YORKSHIRE GATHERING 2003 From: Mrs.Duck Date: 25 Jan 03 - 04:16 PM Just returned from the Black Dog where we had a wonderful meal and had a good chat with the landlady. They are so excited they are thinking of having a mini beer festival to mark the occasion!! Meals are about average pub price and plenty of it - I mentioned breakfasts and that should be a possibility too. No problems with well behaved dogs or goldfish (they seemed surprised we asked about that one!) Plenty of trees about to give shade Nutty. Only one request from landlady is that we don't have barbeques on the field as she is worried about fires. Not sure why but that is her request and I can't see any problems complying. So get it in your diaries everyone its going to be a cracking weekend! |
