"The waiting will be over for Lillian this evening"...

What's happened to Matt then? Amnesia in a hospital in Inverness and he recovers as caring and responsible?

It was a great series, I would not have missed it.
I think you'll find it still is, if you can get your head out of your arse for a moment.

Poor Lilian though, jOhn.

Though it might be better for her if Matt was sent away for some time to think on the error of his ways, and for her to get some independence back.

Mind you, she thinks's Joe's 'sweet' so her taste may be sadly lacking.

Joe is sweet. Her taste in older men is immaculate.

Knowing Susan, I think she'd fight a losing battle to keep quiet about something gossip-worthy. She would at least have told Neil. I think the problem is going to be Clarrie not Nik. It's Nik whose going to get a nasty surprise. Mind you, she thinks's Joe's 'sweet' so her taste may be sadly lacking.

I see an analogy of rising rate of sin and fornication in Ambridge in the manifestation of the Ambridge Worm - surely a subconcious re-run of the biblical Eden story.

But why should The Lone Ranger have to die to atone for Will's bit of fun?

What next? David parting the waters of the Am to get the cows across to new grass? Sid turning water into Shire's?

Amy is black as well, so it would be overdoing it if she was black. But there is something I'm sure. Susan was leaning over backwards NOT to be racist/disablist etc. Maybe Nik only has one arm, and that's why she was struggling with the pushchair - or she could be Chinese AND only have one arm.

Anyway...Susan's met her and if there were anything at all different about her Susan would have been rushing to tell everyone. all she could say was "She's not as pretty as our Emma". I think the fact that she's got two kids is probably enough for Clarrie

I was once a party to an evil and wicked plot to smuggle the Archers' theme tune onto someone's phone as a ring tone, just to watch him projectile-vomit the next time someone called him.

And we would have gotten away with it, if it wasn't for those pesky kids.
