THE ENTITY THAT GAVE ME THIS INFOMRATION TOTALLY FLIPPED ME OUT! NUT OR NOT I CAN DO THIS WRITING FORM EFFERTLESSY AND ACCURATELY WITHOUT ANY ERROR OR NOTICABLE AMBIGUITY TO THE TEXT.

AND THE SUBJECTS I DISCOVER ARE GIVEN TO ME DIRECTLY FROM THE UNIVERSAL MIND. I HAVE NOT ANY KNOWLEDGE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SUBJECT MATTER WHATSOEVER, AND MERELY WRITE THE WORDS AND IDEAS THAT ARE GIVEN.

IN FACT AFTER I DICTATE THE WORDS (I AM MERELY A DICTATOR, THE WORDS COME TO ME LIGHTNING FAST WITHOUT PRIOR THOUGHT OR ANALYSIS) I MUST STUDY WHAT I JUST WROTE IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND WHAT WAS GIVEN. Actually, now he's calmed down I think I can see where Dewey's coming from here.

I would call it the sub-conscious. Sometimes when I've got a problem that needs solving I'll put it to the back of my mind and let it sit for a while. Quite often a solution will occur without my really thinking about it. I think that that is what happens with people like Bill Gates - the idea is there but just needs the right circumstances to bring it out.

I must admit that child geniuses such as Mozart do make me wonder whether there is something in the idea of an outside force aiding a particularly amenable mind.

C-Flat. The "so there" was my own. I only write about a page a day from the oversoul. The rest I leave to the regular or _average form of intellegence. The devine stuff shoots into my mind in the form of entire detailed paragraphs.

The idea that English text is easily understandable only in Upper case came from the TeleType™ Machine, which was a cheap machine that could only type in uppercase in early versions. That is why the "shift" character was introduced - to allow the change between upper & lower case for people of normal intelligence.

It is possible to read lower case if the bottom half of the letters is covered.

The reason that some "kOmPuTa nERdS" like to type in Upper Case only instead of mixed upper & lower case is simply lack of physical coordination - that is one less thing their three brain cells need to focus on. Also, people are so confused by the Upper case only that they tend to overlook the level of illiteracy of the posters - lack of spelling accuracy also leads to mental confusion.

And it looks like nobody has yet picked (no doubt because of the Upper case only) that this poster is babbling about NOT 'The Uni-versal Mind' but 'The Un-Versal Mind'.

Clearly that means someone whose mind can only handle prose and not verse.

In that case, I doubt that there is much that we here who can appreciate verse can tell this poster (or the bowels of the Village Idiot that he is channelling) about 'The Versal Mind' that he will understand.

About writing in all capital letters... when you write in all caps, it's pretty difficult for people like me to read. I have pretty bad astigmatism and a couple of other vision problems, and all caps gives me a headache and all of the letters just look like a big jumble to me.

A further careful study of our original posters channelled babblings reveals that he has definitely been pulling our chain. Flushed with success, I can now lift the lid on this whole can of er,... and report that he is clearly not talking about Verse at all, but Simply Prose. I don't know how much Verse that Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, but the poster is clearly concerned with the prose output in the form of the Essays.

Note that when he said he was in touch with "The Infinite", I think (due to his poor spelling) he really meant "The Institute". Maybe if we tell them, they will come and pick him up in the special little white Taxi and take him back to his little Rubber Room, where he can be persuaded to put on his special smoking jacket with the funny sleeves...

I would highly recommend you read Dr. John Lott's excelent book to you "More Guns; Less Crime" At first he was a firm supporter of gun control; but after researching the matter; he realized Huns were used to stop many times the number of crimes than the crimes were committed with guns.

If ONE person on the train had been armed when Colin Ferguson started murdering people because they were Caucasion; he would have been stopped before he could murder 18 people. A few of the school shootings by children were stopped from being a blood bath by a teacher and vice principal going to their car and getting their gun.

In Gun control; the people wanting gun control are applying to people's emotions to get a knee jerk reaction.

William H. (Two Bears) Lambdin (lifetime member of the NRA), and carry a Tennessee handgun carry permit and proud of it!

For me to get the handgun carry permit; I had to take a course that taught us the law we have to apply to the carrying of a handgun, and be tested to ensure we understand it (I received a score of 94 out of 100, THEN I had to fire my weapon 50 times at a target from three different distances. I received a score of 97 out of a possible 100, then I had to pay $115 for the handgun carry permit, and have my fingerprints placed on file with the FBI. If the FBI found ANYTHING; I did not get the handgun carry permit, and I lost the $115. If sometime in the furture; I ever commit a crime; and leave my fingerprints; they might as well send a Mariachi band into the FBI to get their attention.

I myself have had several strange and bizarre experiences that are reality to me, but you would label them as fanciful or my imagination running away with me.

Dewey - What you are speaking of is certainly possible, and yes, it has happened to a certain number of inspired people (such as Emerson) just as you say. Still, I don't know if you are "for real" or if you're just someone fooling around on the Net or someone in a state of delusion...but I do know that some people in fact DO tap into Universal Mind. It would be most interesting if you are one of them. If you were, though, why would you post about it on this forum???? Oh...and how did you tap into Universal Mind? What happened? And who would you say is the Entity that is speaking through you? Has that entity identified itself in any particular way?

There are a lot of people on all types of levels of awareness in the living/breathing world, and a lot of them in the not living/breathing world too. Just because someone living/breathing talks to us it doesn't mean they necessarily know more than we do about life, the universe and everything. The same caution applies to the non-living/breathing people or entities who talk to us. It can be really easy to get overwhelmed by the mode of communication and think that the message must be higher level because the method appears amazing. It's just as important, or twice as important, to check the content of the messages against our own values, philosophies, ethics and understanding.

E.g. if we lived in an isolated situation with no knowledge of mobile phones then phone messages may appear amazing. "How did she know that the tornado was going to hit us before it happened?" Not to mention satellite info and weather forecasting, etc.

So use your discernment skills to evaluate the messages objectively.

Yeah, Bobert, but being tapped into Universal Mind does not necessarily allow one to move static objects by mental power! :-) That would be called a "siddhi" in the Vedic tradition (India), meaning a "special power". There are many, many siddhis that people can attain even without being tuned into Universal Mind, but there's no guarantee about which ones come to which person...if any do at all. You can be tuned into Universal Mind and NOT have any unusual abilities that are particularly notable (aside from the tuning in itself).

I agree, though...Dewey should join the 'Cat, if he is serious about this, and PM people who actually want to talk about it. It's folly to discuss this sort of thing on an open forum. At least I think it is. :-) It attracts way too much unhelpful attention from various folks who think they already know everything.

One of the first things you learn in graphic art design is that large amounts of copy should never be printed in all caps, and should preferably be in a lower-case serifed font. The serifs help guide the eye along the line of text and produce less strain from the eyes having to search around among the lines to make sure you're still on the same one as you progress from one word to the next (even though you don't feel this happening, it still wears on the eyes after a time). That's why serifed fonts were designed (the Times Roman font, for example, has been fine-tuned over many years to be very readable in large amounts).
The lower case letters also provide a distinct and memorable shape to a word which we recognize and skim over. It all allows us to read more quickly than sounding out all the letters each time. Whatever Internet protocol says about all caps being considered SHOUTING (whether you accept that or not), if you want people to read what you've typed, it's best not to make them work too hard. We've all been conditioned by media overload and television advertising to have the attention span of a chipmunk these days, so why do spammers and other crap-mongers make self-defeating decisions like posting and sending large amounts of copy in all capital letters in the first place? Perhaps they're just really fucking stupid as well as being obnoxious.

Two Bears, thanks for treating Dewey's postings with respect, whether it turns out he was taking the piss or not.

My brother composed all of his symphonies, concertoes, etc. through a kind of conscious connection to the Cosmic or whatever one wants to call it. He called it writing by Inspired Selection©. His article on it and what he calls MetaMusic© was published in the American Theosophist and reprinted elsewhere, along with several others on the power of music, etc.

Sometimes, when I let all of the "little" mind stuff go and open to my higher self, I feel my writing comes through as inspired that way, too.

There's more I would discuss, but privately only. No need to make oneself a target, continuously.:-)

I believe Dewey--he sounds just like Dr. Bronner--only thing is that automatic writing/channelling usually generates more than a page a day--

Madam Blavatsky wrote volumes, with the aid of Hoot Koomi, and Crowley wrote a book in 4 1/2 days(it took me longer than that to read it)--I think that Nietzche wrote "Alzo Sprecht Zarathustra" using automatic writing --check it out here, in both English and German (for Wolfgang--though I'll bet he's read it already) Also Sprecht Zarathustra

No more caps, I was just funning and I guess sometimes I like to think that what I have to say is important cso the caps come out, again sorry they offend, they were sincerely meant to emphasize, not to shout. Althoug sometimes I get irritated too.

Yes, I am the same Dewey that discussed Cuba, I play 5-string banjo, and flat-pick guitar as well. I am also the one that discussed money habits and recommended the book "the Richest Man In Babylon" as a means to obtain financial responsibilty. I was also the one who posted the thread about hearing new unique and full musical pieces in my head that have never been composed. (I tried hard then not to come across as boastful and I am trying hard not to come across as such now)

If any of us do have these abilities they are not of our own doings but are a gift from God.

I have played the banjo for people who could not play I lick of anything, yet many times the patterns came to me, I played them first instinctually and understood them later- this is what the super-conscious mind is. It does our bidding for us and can organize thought faster and more furious than we in our own punny little capabilities can do.

I get very anoyed by people who think they are something special becasue of their abilities, those abilities are not theirs: they come from God. I am NOT a bragger but I will comment on any capability I have developed, if I think it may be of use to me, or anyone else in mankind.

I developed this sixth sense (and that is exactly what it is) By Reading a book that I higher recommend anyone read. The Book is entitled "Think and Grow Rich" by Napolean Hill. Do A search on the net and you will find that he discusses the universal mind. This book is endorsed (and the formula followed and used by U.S. Presdients) Teddy Roosevelt, Henry Ford, Alexander Gram Bell, Andrew Carnigie all recommended the principles in it as essential for achieving any goal beyond the ordinary. The greatest minds in civilization found their greatness by following the formula they endorse in this book.

The Carnegie formula is as follows: all achievement, all creativity has its beginning in an idea. When the priciples of desire, faith, auto suggestion, organized planning specialized knowledge, imagination decision etc are all mastered (and I have been attempting to master these principles for over 7 years) The spiritual and organizational powers of the mind are unfolded and a new sensory powers in the mind is developed (this part of the brain is know as the cerebral cortex. The cerebral cortex controls this stimulation The stimulation is cuased by organized postive emotions in a spirit of expentancy, This triggers the super-conscious mind, The superconscious will volutarily contact the individual without the individual even trying to make the contact. It will reveal its plains and ideation and explain itself, which is exactly what happened to me about one month ago. I used to hear mucis only, now I hear words and paragraphs and they my breathtakingly stunning sense.

I now can effortly contact this higher mind and it will tell me exact what I need to do to reach a particular objective I am aiming for, it is like a computer it you feed it information, it will not only give you the information, but even a great deal more information that you even had originally bargained for. Carnegie used the mastermind in conjunction with about twelve other individuals to form united states steele, this universal mind thought ands helped all the member tapped into into it in a way that would help the orgnaization reach its goals. It was the most power organized group of minds ever assembled and it guidance and power came not from the individuals but from the mastermind itself.

the mastermind is currently teaching me through my writings how to think after introducing itself to me. It is telling me word for word and paragraph for paragraph how to control my thought implusive and direct them toward an end. Much like a Soap opera I get I paragraph ended and it is like a clifhanger, The last line leads right into the next and is even more deeper and organized and also tells me exactly how it is helping me and what I need to do on my own part to make the experieince and the insights even more vivid.

Anyway that's what's going on and I really don't give a rat rear-end whether anyone believes me or not.

Good for you, Dewey. I believe you are exactly right about the superconscious mind and it works as you say. It's called the Higher Self in some traditions, and it is what people try to reach through meditative techniques, by quieting the busy personality-mind, which is the mind most people think with most of the time.

And those very same little personality-minds are going to leap gleefully on your every spelling and grammatical error as proof that you're on on Cloud 9 and totally deluded...just wait! :-) The personality-mind is very critical and pedantic in nature, because it is competitive and always seeking some advantage. It plays survival games.

It's also called the "monkey-mind", because it's restless and essentially rather frivolous, and acts like a hyperactive monkey. It loves to argue, loves to pick, loves to debate (not to seek Truth, but merely to win), and has a hard time concentrating on any one thing for very long. It also loves to interrupt, if having a conversation with someone, and it has very little patience (specially in traffic). It's selfish, petty, and vain. It's also a great servant if you can master it through activating the Higher Self. Most people can't. The monkey-mind masters them instead. And it imagines itself to be the lord of all it surveys...yet lives in fear.

Now this superconscious you speak of is a wonderful thing if people can tap into it. It produces wisdom and equality. I have only the most meagre experience in reaching it myself at this point, now and then when writing songs and that sort of creative thing. If you can do it regularly at will that's great.

I'd be interested to know what you're getting in those writings. Consider joining the 'Cat and PMing some of it to me...if you like.

And thanks for reminding me about Napoleon Hill's book. It's one I've been meaning to take a look at. His title is a good one "Think and Grow Rich", because Abundance is a natural thing, and should come naturally to any person who taps into and makes use of his or her higher mind, just as abundance is found in the World of Nature. It is limited thinking that produces the extreme limitations most people find themselves trapped in.

One would be best to think of the word "rich" not just in terms of money if one wants to grasp the true concept of Abundance.

Amen LH, especially to the last part about riches residing only in material goods. Napolean Hill places money at the END of the list of things that constitute real riches. The greatest riches he defines as the following #1 a Positive Mental Attitude (Note that it heads the list) #2 Sound Physical Health #3 Wisdom with which to understand people. #4 An open mind toward all people on all subjects.

Observe with great benefit that money comes at the end of the list of the things that make men and woman rich!

My brother composed all of his symphonies, concertoes, etc. through a kind of conscious connection to the Cosmic or whatever one wants to call it. He called it writing by Inspired Selection©. His article on it and what he calls MetaMusic© was published in the American Theosophist and reprinted elsewhere, along with several others on the power of music, etc.

Neat!

Sometimes, when I let all of the "little" mind stuff go and open to my higher self, I feel my writing comes through as inspired that way, too.

All depends on your viewpoint. Eternal verities are mere banal cliches to a cynical mind, but a cynical mind is a limited mind. All true spiritual writings are scoffed at by cynical minds, which have neither the goodwill nor the vision to respond to what is being offered in those writings.

Dewey is right: A positive mental attitude is the number one form of wealth and abundance in this world, and it leads to every good thing imaginable. It is the open door, the step forward, the extended hand in friendship and cooperation, the engine of useful accomplishment.

I think Nietzche only wrote one book that way--the rest of the time, he wrote things the old fashioned way--with considerably better results--

As for Dewey, you are laboring under the illusion that what you are experiencing is something unique--it isn't, it happens to everyone--

There is a Zen story to the effect that a student begins meditating, and spirits begin to speak through him, he becomes psychic, and he able to transport himself through time and space--he excitedly tells his master, who says, "Don't worry, keep mediating and it will all go away"--

By definition, everyone is in touch with the Universal Mind--Lot's of people have music running through their heads--only a few can manage to write it down, and ever fewer manage to turn it in to something worth listening to--

The sort of thing Dewey is experiencing may not be unique, but it might be new to his awareness. If that's the case, I can understand how he might want to discuss it with others, as he says in his opening post. I don't see why anyone should have a problem with his wanting to do that. Discussing things that are new to us is a great way of gaining perspective. That seems like a pretty healthy impulse to me.

TBPL: I am a guy. I have NO idea what rosette looks like. There are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple and brown. White and black exist as does the suffix -ish. Turquoise is really either bluish or greenish. The adjectives dark and light will qualify most colours, and the adverb very will qualify the adjective. Thus, we can say things like "The child's dress was very dark bluish", and thereby we do not have to invent another term for the colour.

I feel much the same about flowers. I love flowers, but I call them all petunias. It is just a method of keeping my world simple. I personally believe you are TheBigPinkLad. So don't let those nay sayers get to you. They are Canadians, and they have issues.

You're quite right about that, Clint. We just don't all know it. Those people who are better tapped in are more peaceful, more creative, and more effective. It's a question of enhanced awareness, that's all.

An enlightened being is simply one who has become keenly aware of his innate connection to Universal Mind, and utilizes that connection on a conscious and regular basis. Everybody utilizes it on an unconscious basis, but how well do they do so? If they are fearful, angry, and off-balance, then not so well.

I have not died, nor drown in a pile of ectoplasm. It's just that the thread was getting a little long. Most people reading this thread will have already made up their minds on the subject without my having to defend or advocate one way or the other.

I write about a page a day from the oversoul, and generally speaking that is enough. No need to go bananas! My faith and excitement is strong (which is the key to accessing this power) I wish to be a well balanced person, And frankly the power is so strong and unique that initially I am timid about over doing it until I get a solid footing on just what or whom I am dealing with in these dictation style writings.

I wish to affirm hear that I am wide-awake and perfectly alert when I write form the oversoul, I am not in a trance, paralyzed o.b.e. taking drugs etc. and can engage in other activities as well while I am dictating.

At present in my humble opinion I don't believe it is an entity that is guiding me, i.e. an angel, demon, spirit etc. I will provide a sample writing to sincere like-minded individuals if desired on what it is a am daily experiencing, should that be helpful or necessary in any way.

Obviously, If I posted the text in this forum I would most likely be rediculed. I am going to write about a page a day for over the next year and see just where I stand. It should easily be a full, complete and reveiling book by then. I will offer complimentary copies to download at the end of the year should anyone actual desire this.

I have been studying and interacting with my own writings that I have dictated. I am a poor reader with A.D.D. after pondering over each word, (much like one might do in a poem or biblical text) I begin to study and see a higher picture than the abstract words that are respresented, but the most amazing thing I get from these writings is a secondary voice other than my own that offers continual guidance, exciting new words and concepts, and also exexcutable plans on various subjects I focus on. THE KEY IS TO THINK AND DO, THOUGHTS ARE THINGS: PHYSCIAL THINGS, AS SUCH THEY ARE EXPERIENCE, NOT IMAGINED. Think, get the answer, do the answer. Ask the next question higher up, get the next higher up answer, do the next higher up answer etc. etc.

Whether I was concerned or not would depend entirely on the nature of the messages, and how they were affecting the person receiving them. If the effects were good, I would not be concerned. People have been receiving these kinds of messages since antiquity, as you will discover if you read spiritual books from a great many different traditions (not just the Christian ones). It's not a phenomenon exclusive to any one religion.

I like to have fun too! Sometimes when I'm having fun, I am taken serious, and other times when I am serious I am taken for having fun. Computers are a horrible and impossible medium to express thoughts and emotions to other human beings.

I am a terrible typist also which does not help my cause. I always cheat and look at the keys when I type which messes me up.

I would have responded sooner to the posts, But I expected to merely get criticized. Which is a typical response, for anyone making such bizarre statements as were posted here.

Search on the net for various free plugins for IE Browser (some work on other browsers and even other apps too) which allow you to spell check inside typing windows such as here. I currently use ieSpell (the way they spell it)

Two Bears, I am not too particular about my e-mail, send it to whoever you feel my wish to converse. the only reason I didn't make in public of coarse, is the fear of too much spam.

The intellectual fellowship I get on this subject is helping me greatly in my unstanding of the subject of the superconscious mind.

When I began to write about the superconscious (with no prior knowledge on the subject) I simply concentrated on the concept of the superconscious mind, because my faith, and expectancy was strong on this subject, the oversoul began dictating all relevant information to me using the words already placed in the vocabulary of MY subconscious.

That is what the guidance system of the superconscious is: it take our own information given to us over our entire life and spits it back to us in detailed orgaized ways that help us uncover the idea, which usually EXISTS ALREADY in its entirety, either in space, someone's elses mind, our mind, or the mind of the infinite itself. It's a belief and impulse driven system, because our concentration is great and our picture of the outcome viewed is total.

It's like a intellectual family tree of subconscious vocabulary, one word is precisely placed there through positive-minded educated guesses, and never makes mistakes, and there are mistakes it is only because they are introducing us to their cousins (the idea might be slightly off because our vocabulary has no other word to conpare so the superconscious gives us a similar or somewhat relative match, One idea begets another expanding on the intellectual tree, plus new ideas are added from the super-conscious (especially vocabulary words)

NEW VOCABULARY WORDS CONSTANTLY COME TO ME. I have no prior knowledge of these words, yet when I look them up (on the internet for example) I find the new vocabulary words direct me into the study of NEW SUBJECTS WHICH PERFECTLY CORRESPOND TO THE SUBJECT I AM CURRENTLY WORKING TO UNDERSTAND . These subjects, already exist of couse, as do all ideas real and imagined (somewhere in the intellectual ether)

For example, the word MOBILE CONCENTRATION came to me in a not too recent writing, I found out by doing an internet search that this practice has to do with multiple plains of concentration that work synergically towards an end (i.e. the information I found was because I found favor in the superconscious though concentration and because of such the universal mind guided me directly to the source, people and other minds that would allow me to even expand more with the growing idea and concept that sprang from my faith. (i.e. my superconscious WAS SEEKING SPECIALIZED KNOWLDGE (one of the 13 principles in "Think and Grow Rich", and it was found on the internet. Just like it was seeking the next logical word from my subconscious that would lead me toward my goal of discovery.

Anyway enough siad in this, but I am less concerned about redicule now, as I am fully convince I am working with the guidance of a higher intelligence than myself. I also believe it is the natural extention of human intelligence and not an evil power.

It isn't really talking to me at all, It (the universal mind) is more of an instinct and guidance factor that remarkable has the added ability of intelligence itself.
