Yes, well, if you think he miscalculated this time, you should have seen back when he was going out with that exotic dancer, "S" (some time prior to his getting married). Hoo boy! He saved me bigtime. I was thinking seriously of going out with her myself at the time, but he headed her off at the pass. Best damned favour that boy EVER did for me...!

We all miscalculate now and then.

In less than 3 hours I will not be officially dead any longer. It's been...different. But not that different.

I was extra careful driving today, what with all this talk about me being dead already. I am now safe at home where nothing can happen. Nothing whatsoever. Nada. I am totally secure and protected.

Geeze, Raptor, now look, ya gone and divided what was left of the Cat into opposing sides over an imaginary obituary.

I dunno about anyone else, but I have learned over the years to treat anything I see or hear on April 1 as suspect until proven otherwise. Having to bend over backwards to avoid inadvertant stepping on buttons is asking a bit much on April Fools Day.

Hmmm. Bit of a mess to clean up here. Another gorilla attack, and this time there were two of them. I wish Chongo would straighten out his problems with the North Siders in Chicago. They keep sending heavies up here to eliminate him, and I get caught in the crossfire. It's disturbing. It makes it hard to concentrate on normal business.

Chongo says he doesn't even recognize these two. They must be newbies. Must have been, I mean.

An hour and a half to go till midnight.

Which fellow Canadian is that you're referring to, Chanteyranger? Not Neil Young, I hope?

He means..."you fell for it"...in other words, thought it was the real deal, my obituary. Well, I guess it would be quite a shock, until the extra bit got added to the title. Good thing Raptor did not attach a whole tragic story to go with the title. Less than 7 minutes to go here, and no more gorillas.

I just looked up Shatnerization on Google, and it is a recognized term now with numerous references on the Net. I wonder if I am responsible for its present inclusion in the common vernacular? If so, I oughta get royalties.
