Subject: How Daniel Radcliffe outran Harry Potter From: keberoxu Date: 09 Aug 24 - 04:35 PM Sad to say, I cannot link to an excellent article on this subject in The Atlantic magazine, from June 2024. The article does come up online but there is a sort of paywall and you cannot read more than two paragraphs or so. The article included a lengthy interview with Radcliffe, highlights of his career since Harry Potter, and interviews with a few other people to round out the story. I saw Daniel Radcliffe a few years ago in "My Boy Jack," the story of Rudyard Kipling's son who was killed in the Great War (Kipling pere was played by David Haig (Have I got his name right?)). Since then he has played in a biopic about Weird Al Yankovic, and has generally enjoyed himself playing the roles he wants, including being in Broadway productions of musicals by Loesser and by Sondheim. |
