Subject: RE: Obit: John Prine (1946-2020) From: keberoxu Date: 22 Apr 20 - 01:56 PM if no one else will state the obvious, it might as well be me. I speak so bluntly as to give offense, all the time. I'm sorry if this is offensive. But surely John Prine's remains have now been laid to rest. I am well aware that the pandemic restrictions have required Prine's widow and family to postpone memorials or funerals in the sense of gatherings of people, and that such must happen sooner or later, as permitted. So I guess we will be told, when the family thinks it appropriate, about the burial and the grave. |

Subject: RE: Obit: John Prine (1946-2020) From: keberoxu Date: 25 Apr 20 - 12:00 PM Thanks for Wikipedia's quote from Rolling Stone magazine, I had not seen that article and it does indeed answer my question. Hope all of the bereaved -- since Prine's 'fans' sound, indeed, like a sort of extended family -- soon have what is needed in order to come together and say their farewells. |
