Just got an e-mail back from Amazon saying I can keep these as well! No info. whether they've sorted the problem out. No more phantom deliveries so far!

I've often joked about my record-buying "habit" but now Amazon seems to be rewarding me by sending me items paid for by other people!
I had been waiting ages for UK Amazon to supply Coco Robicheaux and Catfish Keith CDs and they kept putting back the arrival date so I cancelled the order and ordered from Amazon US instead (delivered from stock in days).
Then another parcel arrived posted from Amazon's German warehouse with my address label containing a delivery note showing it was ordered by, and should have been delivered to, a US customer. It was Romantic Hits of the 1950s (and our 32nd Wedding Anniversary yesterday!). OK, I wouldn't have bought it but at least it's my era, sort of "God I'd forgotten that one" record, quite good for singing in the car (Her car, mine only has cassette player). Any way, Amazon said "keep it, it would cost us too much to send you a re-address label".
Then yesterday two more parcels arrived: a video (VHS) of Bob Hope's Son of Paleface and a CD+DVD by someone called Josh Groban who I hadn't heard of but is apparently US answer to Charlotte Church , a pop classical baritone who's been on Sex & the City (!).
Each of them paid for, and should have been delivered to, US customers from the German warehouse (tho' is VHS an American format?).
So far no reply from Amazon as to whether they want me to keep these- the video would be OK, I'm not sure about Josh Groban but I know people who might like it.
Now I'm waiting to see what else the postman brings.
Herself only wishes they's send us a free CD rack!
I've normally had good service from various Online CD suppliers (notably Dick & Sandy, of course) but this may explain whu Amazon never seems to go into profit. Anyone else been the recipient of their largesse?
