Subject: Origins: Pentangle’s Hunting Song From: GUEST,M Siirdewaye Date: 03 Apr 26 - 12:54 PM Hello! From the recent thread here (Link) I learned about Pentangle and have enjoyed listening to their Basket of Light album. One of the songs, called “Hunting song”, was described in a concert as “a sort of thirteenth century rock and roll song”. (About 4 minutes in @ link) I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this song’s origins? I have searched it but haven’t found anything helpful yet. Thank you! |
