I'm hoping someone with a better ear for Billy Bragg can fill in the missing lyrics below to his song There is Power in a Union.

I made the corrections in capitals. The lyrics are from the "Talking to the Taxman about Poetry" album.

MISTAKES of the bosses we must PAY FOR
FROM THE CITIES and the farmlands, the trenches full of mud
War has always been the bosses' WAY SIR.

BRUTALITY AND unjust laws cannot defeat us
But Who'll defend the workers who cannot organize
