I've been looking for Breezy's usual posting of who's on at the Comfort Inn, to no avail. He tells me tonight he's off line and asked me to post my own news!
So Harvey Andrews is on tomorrow (Friday)20th at The Comfort Inn, Holywell Hill, St Albans.

Harv If you are half as good as you were at Folk for M S the other weekend then Folk for M S will have been twice as good as you are at St Albans. I wont be there because I am being paid to be some where else,but have a good one and do Middle of the Road for me. YES I am going to steal it from you.

Bit of a late posting, but I thought it shouldn't go unsaid that Harvey was excellent last Friday. It was my first time, but won't be my last! A host of excellent floor spots including Johnny Collins maintained the quality of the evening's entertainment.

Well done Breezy for another great night!

Breezy's off-line for the moment so here's an update.

It was the last of the season and a great way to finish.

Autumn season starts on the 3rd October, can't remember who with (someone help me out please!), but there's a superb line-up coming up until Christmas and beyond, so look out for the notices as some of the gigs are sure to be sell outs.

Finally look out for summer events over the next couple of months, starting with St Michaels Folk evening (venues including the Blue Anchor) in St Albans next Wednesday.

And there were at least 6 damp eyes (I wear glasses) when Harvey sang the song about sons and daughters leaving home to make a life. It would HAVE to be South Australia! How was he to know?
