From: Jess A

I'm excited to say that there will, as of next week, be a new CD available of nursery songs, rhymes and lullabies, from Richard and Jess Arrowsmith (Crucible, Hekety, Glorystrokes), along with a whole host of special guests: Jon Boden, Gavin Davenport, James Fagan, Fay Hield, Aisling Holmes, Nancy Kerr, Jo Maher, Jo Veal and Carmel Wood.
The 34 tracks are perfect for singing to, or with, children from birth and up, and it'd make a great Christmas present!
To find out more and order online, visit http://www.arrowsmithmusic.co.uk

Cheers! Jess

Heard some of the tracks (as well as Jess, Rich and daughter Lucy -- live) on Dave Eyre's folk show (via podcast) yesterday -- great stuff!
(The Kirkby Malzeard Raspberry Song was particularly intriguing...)

We've just got back from the launch for this - it sounds fantastic, really appeals to children (judging by the giggling and clapping) but it's listenable for adults too, which is unusual!

Highly recommended. We'll be giving at least three copies as Christmas presents this year.

Got hold of a copy last night -- am planning to give it to a certain three-year-old I know... can't wait!

Kept a five-year old amused from track one to the end! Trouble is I can't get 'Animal Fair' out of my head! Aaagh!

Just found this thread! I bought this CD for my daughter and it's the best thing I've heard in years. A much better children's CD than anything I have found in the shops.

Joy

I have just ordered a second copy, the first one went down so well with my niece that I am getting one for the car when I drive her about. Not just for small people, I love it too.
