I have a first edition and could scan about 20 pages for you but I haven't got time to scan the whole 96.

Thank you both for replying and for the detail you shared from the 1997 edition. That's the version I own but don't have with me. I used BookFinder and found a used copy of the original 1965 edition.

Thanks again for sharing your help and knowledge!

Heidi

There was a very nice Second Edition of this book published in 1997 by the University Press of Kentucky. Looks like you shouldn't have to pay more than thirty bucks for a copy through bookfinder.com. The original Oak Publications First Edition came out in 1965. The Second Edition has four songs more than the original book's 77 songs. Here's the index of the 1997 book. I'm marked the four added songs with an asterisk.

I'm seeking to buy a gently used copy of *Folk Songs of the Southern Appalachians as Sung by Jean Ritchie*.
I'm separated from my copy of the book due to Covid19, and would like to find an inexpensive copy to have with me.

Thank you and take care!

Heidi
