I'd be a member but I don't own a computer and as I borrow different computers I can't set up a cookie. If nothing else, this would be one chance to support the 'cat. You can reach me at rrayburg@hotmail.com if you need to. I'm a little concerned though. If a smoking patch helps you quit smoking............ Slán agat, Rich |
Subject: RE: Embroidered Mudcat Patches From: Alice Date: 09 Sep 00 - 10:24 PM If you want to put the logo on white tees, mugs, and mousepads, you could set up a store at www.cafepress.com. They take the orders online, apply your art as a transfer, and ship internationally - you don't have to deal with printing or any money up front. They pay you the mark-up amount on each item that is sold from your online cafepress store. No money invested on Mudcat's part. White shirts available only, but you can print on the back and front at no extra charge I'll set it up for you, if you want me to. Here's my cafepress store as an example: |
Subject: RE: Embroidered Mudcat Patches From: momnopp Date: 09 Sep 00 - 09:15 PM Sticker Sisters A couple of enterprising young women from right here in Takoma Park, MD started the wonderfully affirmative business above when they were about 15 years old (they're headed for college now). Since I can reach the main person locally I will be happy to ask her who she uses for her sticker stock and I can pass the info along to you , Susan of DT. Yes, patches, yes stickers!!!!!!! JudyO |
Subject: RE: Embroidered Mudcat Patches From: Mbo Date: 09 Sep 00 - 08:06 PM 3 for me if I forgot to mention it before! Thanks Susan! |
Subject: RE: Embroidered Mudcat Patches From: Susan of DT Date: 09 Sep 00 - 07:57 PM That's 90 patch requests so far (including PMs) so I guess we order around 200, or at least 150. They should be available in the spring. If anyone has a good source for producing stickers (are we talking about opaque or transparent??), let us know. Running them off on a computer would be a nuisance, so printing them would be much better. We will have someone in England and in Australia distributing the tee shirts, buttons, and patches, etc. to help the postage and payment problems. Bill Sables is set up in England to sell tee shirts and I think buttons, and will soon be able to accept checks made out to "Mudcat Cafe". We are just in the talking stages with Helen in Australia. |

Subject: RE: Embroidered Mudcat Patches From: WyoWoman Date: 08 Sep 00 - 09:29 PM Two patches, please. These are the ones that serve as the stop-smoking, don't-order-that-pizza, sex-isn't-REALLY-important, instantly-learn-all-the-B-chords and stops-catspaw-farts devices, right? And stickers? Whoo-hoo!!! Soon as someone creates 'em, I'm so there. ww WW |
Subject: RE: Embroidered Mudcat Patches From: GUEST,Jeffrey Emmett Date: 08 Sep 00 - 09:10 PM 2 patches here! For stickers to be given out as gifts, it would nice to have the web address printed on them. I'd go for some of them, too. (When I read the title to this thread, I envisioned a mudcat auction item - a quilt, assembled of pieces embroidered/quilted by various mudcatters, and all sewed up into one big, decorative quilt. Might be a lucrative fundraiser for the 'cat, thought I'm no quilter.) Jeffrey

Subject: RE: Embroidered Mudcat Patches From: Eric the Viking Date: 06 Sep 00 - 02:48 PM will you do stickers for my alloy wheels? They'd look good- a revolving frog on a banjo at 80 mph also a flag to go on my car arial and mini's for my shades-as I've still kept the 60's look of long hair, how about a mudcat ribbon for festivals? This is getting silly!! Stickers and a patch, though I know someone who will need stretchable stickers for their melodian!! Silly. Eric |
