The sound sample isn't working for me but the narrative is wonderful and on its' strength I will buy this CD. Congrats Rick, et al.

Yes it looks a nice one. I would buy it just to hear JP playing "The Mathematician", but I will be intrigued to hear Rick's "Hesitation Rag" !

I heard a couple of tracks from the CD on the CBC. Both tracks were good.

Yeah, I was honoured to be asked to take part in it. I've just heard it. seems to be a pretty good compilation. Got something for everyone (if you like acoustic guitar). Nice piece from Bruce Cockburn, real clean sound from Jason fowler, SERIOUS fast flatpicking from J.P. Cormier, and A Don Ross tune that really jumps. Good package.

i tried to order it a couple of weeks ago from festival distribution, but they would have had to backorder it because they hadn't received it yet from borealis. i told them i could get it sooner from eve goldberg than by waiting to get it from them.....but i haven't gotten it yet. i can't wait to hear it. what a great group of guitar~players! (rick, how can i get an autographed copy....with ALL the names?)

Hey Walnut, getting all the autographs shouldn't be that difficult....you can start by dropping by our place with a pencil. Think you'll have to head out West for Doug Cox and Ken Hamm. They are two of my favourite pickers.

Could probably manage the autograph, but I think the pick and string might be pushing it. On the other hand you could e-mail True North records and be verrrrrry polite. Ya might get them.
