You really should try to read previous posts. A few days ago Toypresidents eliminated all presidents which have dolls currently in production or will soon. That includes all the most recent except the first Bush, and Washington and Lincoln.

Since you can't vote for them, their current levels are effectively frozen (luckily we put Washington back on top over Reagan a few days prior to that). So now all there is to do is the see how long it will take to push Fillmore up the list.

I'm also trying to push Carter over Nixon. any person who had to leave the presidency in humiliation shouldn't be that high.

I personally (and note, I'm saying this under my name) will stop voting for Fillmore once he passes Reagan. I don't really care if he passes Washington, but I won't contribute to it. I'll begin to vote for others, probably. I've gotten a bit addicted to the process.

For a while I was trying to keep Hoover on the bottom, since he was possibly the worst president down on the bottom area. My father lived through the Great Depression, That SOB (Hoover, not my father) did nothing to help starving, helpless Americans. You know, I usually steer clear of nonsense threads, but this Fillmore business is strangely compelling, and I've voted a couple dozen times - will do so more God willing.

A couple of thoughts:

1. SINSULL said somewhere that this was a chance for us non-Americans to have a vote in the American presidency. Well, the American president I really wish I could vote for isn't on the list: John Kerry. Maybe we could do a write-in campaign for him?

2. I have my suspicions that Oliver Whistlemore doesn't really work for the toy company. But... surely the real people are wondering what's going on. What if we informed this about this campaign, gave them links to the related threads, and invited comments? They might just have a sense of humour...

Yes, I think most of us believe that Whistlemore isn't connected with ToyPresidents. It seems likely one of two things are happening at ToyPresidents regarding the voting:

1) They haven't looked and so haven't noticed.

2) They have noticed and either think it's funny or don't care.

I suppose someone could let them know, but what if they reset everything? Then our fun has ended. I have contacted them to be the voice (not just of Fillmore), but made no reference to the voting on Mudcat.
