Sometimes I leave it alone for fairly long periods of time. But then it starts itching, like a scab that's getting ready to fall off. Then I have to go back and read all of the things that have been posted since I last looked in (just to see if anyone said anything to me that requires a response), and that takes up the better part of a day. By the time I'm done I only have enough mental energy to post one-liners or steal other people's material. (sigh)

There are a few things I have done on the Mudcat site of which I am actually proud. One of them, of course, was the Mudcat CD project. But another one was being the only person to ever post the 4000th post to a thread.

Those who read not the MoAb may not be aware this has occurred. But that is their loss.

You misunderstand the whole concept of the Rupture, Bobert. The Rupture is a rent in the time-space continuum that shall occur when the grain is harvested and the goats are separated from the sheep. It has little or nothing to do with your private parts, but it does have to do with whether you have posted on the MOABST or not! And you have. But you forgot. I think you may just end up in some sort of purgatory for that and have to do penance for awhile. However, in the end you will be saved, and for that I rejoice!
