The recent spyware-induced Mudcat connectivity problems seem to have pretty much wiped Friday, January 14 off of the Mudcat calendar for 2005. Unfortunately, that is the day when Tweed would ordinarilly have celebrated his birthday. Since the day didn't happen, Tweed will have to forego having a birthday this year. Sorry about that.

Yas, CarolC, my computer was broken on my birthday, so I also did not have a birthday this year. That is good 'cause Tweed and I are a mere two weeks apart in age and if I had had a birthday and Tweed didn't, then we would be a year and two weeks apart.

And it is totally appropriate that Tweed and I should both not have birthdays since we already have so many other things in common. To wit:

Tweed is a transplanted Hoozier - I am married to a transplanted Hoozier

Tweed lives in south Florida and thinks northern Florida is populated by gun-totin', pickup drivin' rednecks - I live in northern Florida and know northern Florida is populated by gun-totin', pickup drivin' rednecks

Tweed is an idiot - I am an idiot

All of which leads us to the inevitable conclusion that Tweed and I are the same person.

Tweed only lives in Como, Mississippi in his mind and spirit... His body resides in Lake Worth, Florida... Or at least it did last thing I heard... But I could be wrong... Just as I could be wrong about his birthday being yesterday...

Ya see, I knew Tweed's b'day wuz sometime in mid-January, so I looked at the date on last year's Tweed's birthday thread. Well, it appears that khandu began that thread in the evening before Tweed's actual birthday which is on the 15th, which is TODAY!!!!

So, we didn't miss Tweed's birthday after all! We only missed mine! So, now I'm younger than Tweed!

CarolC, I only live in Florida because I have to. Yaz, what's left obv my pore mind and spirit dwells in Mississippi under the protective rule of Khing Khandu, where blues and hill country trance music flows like the Yazoo River. Where kudzu grows up clumps of trees and takes on the appearance of green giants having animated discussions. Where you can stop in small gas stations and get a home cooked lunch of ribs, blackeyed peas, mashtaters and gravy, collards, yams with marshmellows melted on top,ice tea and peach cobbler for $4.00.
