Subject: Runswick Bay Rescue Boat !! From: Raggytash Date: 21 Nov 05 - 02:48 PM Here's a touch of early warning about next years Runswick Bay Rescue Boat do, as the past two years it will be held at Milnsbridge Socialist Club on SATURDAY 11th MARCH 2006. For those of you who have a booking schedule try and keep this night clear if at all possible we would really love to see you all on the night. Same format as previous years sing from where you are, supper, raffle etc ALL proceeds going to the Runswick Bay Rescue Boat who as you all know by now is not supported by the RNLI and relies solely on voluntary donations. Last year we raised a grand total of £320 for which the crew and committee were ever grateful, they really think we're the bee's knee's for all our efforts and we are the biggest (except for two ladies who bought them a new boat) of their supporters having raised more than £5,000 over the years. If people could let me know if their coming it would help me organise food, staff, seating etc etc Many, Many Thanks from me and Wombat too! |
