I found it revealing, that the interviewers questions concentrated more on guitar playing than singing .

So here's a man who has had a huge impact on traditional folk music over 60 years and yet when an insight is offered to discover more about him that offer is almost ignored.
Why?
Might I suggest that apart from Paul Simon - and that's with reservations - the great and good mentioned have probably got less to offer collectively to traditional music than the man himself.

The Elliots are from Birtley, not Berkeley.
