I used to like Donovan a lot back in the early 70's. Then he seemed to sort of vanish from the scene. I later discovered that this was by his own volition...he voluntarily bailed out of the music game and its demands, wanting a more peaceful life than that.

He has made a few modest comebacks, however, and I had the good luck to see him at Mariposa in Barrie, Ontario, sometime in the late 80's, if I recall correctly.

What a magnificent performance he did! Utterly beautiful guitar playing and singing in every way, and utterly classic songs, plus some new ones.

Who's got a favourite Donovan song?
