Subject: RE: Chord Req: Catch The Wind From: GUEST,Texas Guest Date: 01 Oct 07 - 11:15 PM Sandycreek - I do it basically in the key of "A" and unless I'm being too simplistic it's just a 1-4-5 ( A-D-E ). I do throw in a Dmaj7 for flavoring on the lyric part that goes - dee, dee, dee, etc., but other than that it is just a 1-4-5. If that is not enough information maybe down the road a piece I or someone else can put the words and chord together for you. Cheers. |

Subject: RE: Chord Req: Catch The Wind From: Geordie-Peorgie Date: 03 Oct 07 - 05:30 PM If ye're playin' it in the 'G' chord shapes try this... Play G with the extra finger on the 2nd string in the D position (3rd Fret) When movin' te the next chord (C) leave the 1st & 2nd string fingers where they are (3rd Fret) and move the fingers from the 5th & 6th strings (B & G) across to the 4th & 5th strings (E & C) Aah wez shown that in 1967 - Still a lovely song and guaranteed te get the missus a bit damp! |
