Are you after the whole thing, or is it one or two specific songs (which may appear elsewhere)?

Hi, I am trying to fine the lyrics to the song The Three Hunters from the 1965 spring book Singing together. My husband used to sing it to our boys and heard it when at school. They now want to sing it to their children but have forgotten some of the words. It's about 3 hunter hunting for a dragon and it turns out its a cuckoo! I think!

See the thread Origins: Three Jovial Huntsmen (and related songs). There's neither dragon nor cuckoo in the versions shown, though.

can anyone help me identify the name of this song, I have a couple of lines of it and here they are, I heard this at carol concert in the early seventies at a catholic high school in Leeds uk

"Clearing deep within a quiet wood where with promise of warmth and cheer a log cabin stood, a light form the window illuminates the trees, which echo with a sigh the soft singing of the breeze"
