Subject: Music Time (BBC Schools) - Contents From: Nigel Parsons Date: 24 Jul 20 - 10:37 AM Posting elsewhere I noticed that there appear to be missing items for BBC Schools Broadcasts of series which include folk songs. This is an attempt to correct.
While I'm happy for comments, additions, etc I have an edit key for the thread, so some things may change or get deleted.
Information on Music Time, and the dates of different booklets now found Here |

Subject: RE: Music Time (BBC Schools) - Contents From: Nigel Parsons Date: 25 Jul 20 - 01:14 PM So that is it. "Music Time" BBC television broadcasts to schools ran from Autumn 1970 to Summer 1994. The above list is all the songs included in those broadcasts. The pupils booklets do not seem to appear on eBay as frequently as "Singing Together" or "Time and Tune". This may be because of a move away from this sort of teaching, or because less books were needed for a television programme than with a radio programme. As ever, if anyone needs a song from the above I can arrange to transcribe, or to email a scanned version. |
