If you'll post the Golden Globe words you know, I may be able to fill in some of the blanks--unless someone else beats me to it.

I'm going to see you get that golden globe award
For those golden globes of yours are so fine
Finest globes around, put them in my face anytime,
Going to see you get that golden globe award

Oh those golden globes, there ain,t none better,
I gotta have both, cause they both go together
Gonna see you get that golden globe award

For those golden globes of yours so neat
Finest globes I know about.........
Or that I have ever seen......
.....The kind in a playboy magazine...

While the words are kinda neat, the rhythm and back-up make the song great to listen to.
Thanks for the help.
Verne

is this the one with "makes me want to go around and around the world..then come back again" in it somewhere?

I've got two songs merging in my mind (the other is "Mammary Glands"..Mother Nature's Dairy Delight) and it's confusing me more than I thought it would.

Golden Globe does have a "for both of your sunbeams" at the end.
I'll work on thinking my brain straight and come back..it's not particularly ladylike, but I think I'd like to sing it now that I'm old enough to sing whatever I want whenever I want.

Yes, Melissa, "for both you sunbeams" is in there also...I will try to listen some more tonite.   John Hartford normally doesn't do this type of song; but he does some do "strange ones" sometimes. Like "Mama Killed a Rooster, thought it was a duck, put on the table with its legs sticking up. I thought I'd lose my mind, baby bring your clothes back home and try me one more time." ...is a catchy tune of his that I really like. I think "Bring Your Clothes Back Home,"is the correct title.
Thanks for the input.
Verne

Lyrics copied from http://www.themadmusicarchive.com/song_details.aspx?SongID=4124:

THE GOLDEN GLOBE AWARD
John Hartford

I'm gonna see you get that Golden Globe Award,
For those golden globes of yours, they're so fine.
So round, so firm, so fully packed, they're just right for my hands.
Makes me wanna go around and around your world, and then go round again.

CHORUS: I'm gonna see you get that Golden Globe Award,
For both of your globes.
You can put them in my face just any old time.
Oh, those golden globes, they ain't none better,
I gotta have 'em both, 'cause they both go together
Gonna see you get that Golden Globe Award.

I'm gonna see you get that Golden Globe Award,
For those golden globes of yours, they're so neat.
The finest globes I know about, or know I've ever seen,
In or out of Penthouse, Oui, or Playboy magazine. CHORUS

BREAK

I'm gonna see you get that Golden Globe Award,
For those golden globes of yours, oh they're so fine
This morning when you took your bath, And stood in the sun to dry
I was inspired when I looked up, And saw them in the sky. CHORUS

For both of your sunbeams,
I'm gonna see you get that Golden Globe Award.
