Subject: John Hartford Poem From: GUEST,ynot Date: 03 Nov 00 - 12:06 PM Please help. I'm looking for the lyrics to a John Hartford poem from one of his early albums. I want it to be part of my mothers eulogy. He recites the poem with a simple accoustic guitar in backround. It may be from "The Love Album" and the title may be "Prayer". I'm just not sure.It begins,I believe, with " I love life.." and then goes on to talk about the wonders of life and love. It ends with his expressed desire to continue to grow and not lose his sense of wonder and not " wake one morning and find myself bored, one of the walking dead". I would merely like a copy of the words. Thanks for your help. |
