sorry I dont know the John Hartford recording. The Devil's Hornpipe is an alternative name for the very well-known tune the Devil among the Tailors, or the Devil's Dream, which should be easily locatable on the net. Speed the Plough(Plow) is another very well-known tune, but I've never heard it called the Devil's H.

Try any of the above at JC's Tunefinder. They should all be there.

I was wondering if you were referring to Divil's Dream?

Speed the Plough and The Devil among the Tailors are both reels and different tunes. Gene Goforth's Devil's Hornpipe has similarities to both but again is a different tune.
