No idea - got mine (and lots of other Catters got theirs) direct from the publishers some time ago.

Why not cancel your Amazon order and buy direct? It will cost you a whole three quid more, but I strongly suspect more of that money will go to the people who actually supported and produced the book that way ...

Great book BTW, you will enjoy it when you do finally get your hands on a copy.

I got mine promptly from Amazon on first publication, for that matter. Have you tried calling Amazon Customer Services & asking why the delay?

Downloaded mine on to my Kindle. One more paper book and I would not have been able to enter or leave my house!

Rather depends on what country you are in.

According to Amazon its in stock in the UK and 2 to 3 weeks order time in the US.

Dave Arthur has done a terrific job with this book. It is extremely well devised, researched and a great read. I presented Bert in his Sydney concerts - took him to dinner at Harry Robertson's place where they talked about whaling - fascinating but there were so many facets of Lloyd that it is staggering. A major influence on so many singers and thinkers, myself included.

I agree. Cancel the order and re-place with Pluto Press. They are a small company who are well worth supporting and they have several other folkmusic projects in the pipeline. Give them plenty of encouragement, convince them there's a market out there, and who nows what they'll come up with.

The delivery noe set for mid next month I am in USA if they miss that one I should order from the used source
