If you don't know the title, just enter any phrase you do know (such as [mill is running fast] or [Oh dear me]---the square brackets indicate a phrase) in the blue box at the top of the page. We have lots (over 8000) lyrics there, along with a lot of tunes. |

Subject: Lyr Add: TEN AND NINE (from Liam Clancy) From: The Lighthouse Date: 23 Jul 00 - 11:49 AM TEN AND NINE (As I can remember them!)
Oh dear me the mill is running fast
Oh dear me I wish the day was done
Oh dear me the world is ill divided
Oh dear me the mill is running fast
I'm a little rusty on that second verse there! First verse is repeated as the fourth. This is Liam Clancy's version - if there are other words I don't know them! |

Subject: Liam Clancy record. From: GUEST,mcpiper Date: 19 Jul 00 - 06:47 AM A friend of mine had his entire record collection stolen some time ago. The only record he has not been able to replace, and sorely misses, is a Liam Clancy L.P. He thinks it was self titled, but remembers it had Luke Kelly doing the chorus on Rocky Road to Dublin, and song called Ten and Nine. Any info on this particular record, and where he might get a copy would be much appreciated. Gotta say, this Mudcat is the most entertaining and enlightning site I know of. many thanks, mcpiper |
