1676) I WILL ARISE --- MMario - in the DT these words are a combination of the chorus of Come Ye Sinners Poor and Needy (I Will Arise and go to Jesus) and Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing You mentioned above that it appears to be a variant of Restoration at Sacred Harp. For some reason, they also appear to have a combination of the words to these hymns. The tune you link to at Southern Harmony is the Come Ye Sinners (Restoration) tune.

Both words and music to these hymns can be found at the Cyber Hymnal.

Come Ye Sinners Poor and Needy (I Will Arise and go to Jesus)

Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing

I suggest that whoever has the power to check on the DT version should do so and erase it if it's wrong. (At least correct the spelling of fount instead of font.) Then if you need the words and midi to each of the two separate hymns, let met know.

MMario, when you get a spare moment could you please send an updated list of orphan lyrics - I'm starting to forget what I've done.

I'm getting tired of seeing 12th of July at the top of the wanted list. Anyone have any clues as to the source of the tune?

Cigarettes and Whusky and Wild Wild Women - the 'whusky' spelling just about beat me

Wee Pot Stove (Wee Dark Engine Room) by Harry Robertson - I thought I'd done before, but it's very little notation

Kenmure's Up and Awa Willie

Goodnight and Joy Be With You All - discussed in the recent Parting Glass thread. I'm not sure of the status of lyrics and tune but I have both.

Come Under My Plaidie - interesting tale of seduction

Aye Wakin O - one of my favourites. It's probably in the DT but I haven't confirmed yet.

Whaling Wife - again I thought that I'd posted a couple of years ago, but I couldn't find it at last look.

Sundry old time waltzes a la Pride of Erin songs which are on Mario's list but which I can't recall at the moment. A couple of worthy omissions from DT are Old Bull and Bush and Let Me Call You Sweetheart.

I'll probably start a separate thread on Aviators Songs but I have the tunes to the two Linberg songs in the DT, Lucky Lindy and Lindberg Eagle of the USA plus a couple of brand new Australian ones from the same time period (late 1920's).
